Dogs’ lives are too short. Their only fault really”
Agnes Sligh Turnbull
It is only fitting to name the publishing company after the greatest dog in history, in Tammy’s history anyway. She has had her share of great dogs, but Zoe Grace was her first dog as an adult. Zoe arrived just when Tammy needed her, when her life seemed to be falling apart piece by piece. From 2011 to 2019, Zoe was by her side and guiding her to a life she could not have imagined possible.
Zoe Grace became a bridge of healing between Tammy and having a healthy relationship with other people; providing a pathway for her to meet the man of her dreams, establish long lasting friendships, and accomplish great things in her life. Perhaps Zoe’s greatest accomplishment was restoring a spiritual connection with God. Without which, Tammy would not be here today.
You might think, “A dog did all that?”, but Tammy would respond with a resounding, “Yes, one dog did all that!”
In March/2019, Zoe Grace became sick and despite doing all they could, within a month she succumbs to Hemangiosarcoma, an aggressive blood vessel cancer.
Zoe Grace was not perfect, but she was perfectly imperfect for Tammy and her husband Bob. She was a rebel, but gentle. She lived in her own world but invited them in. She was the light in their every day, and Tammy’s shadow everywhere.
