Having submitted several manuscripts since her youth and finding many publishers hadn’t the time to read nor acknowledge the manuscript, Tammy pulled from her education the inspirational story of Andrew Carnegie.
Understanding the strategy of Carnegie, Tammy learned that perhaps while you wait for opportunities, you can create them and the life you seek. Change is inevitable, and as such, we can, in some ways, control it — if we first accept that it exists. Thus, like Carnegie in manufacturing steel, Tammy decided to own all aspects of the publishing process: a start to finish strategy.
